Comp-Mall has a new fanless embedded PC, the Pipal-2060A. It is based on Intel's power-saving Atom processor N270 and offers four digital isolated inputs and two isolated outputs. Further inputs and outputs are: two GByte LAN with Wake-On-LAN & DMI, WLAN optional, audio, dual display VGA with DVI, LVDS internal, five USB 2.0 and two COM ports. Additional functionality is provided by two CF-II, one Mini PCI and one Mini PCIe slot. A watchdog timer for automatic restart and RTC are also available, as are monitoring functions for voltage and temperature. Windows XP Professional, Embedded, Windows 7 and Linux are supported. Another special feature is the cable-free design, which eliminates cable clutter, reduces plug connections and provides better air circulation in the housing. This reduces potential sources of error and increases operational reliability. Thanks to its fan-free operation, all-metal housing and cable-free design, the Pipal 2060A is robust, maintenance-free and can be used in temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +50 °C. With its isolated digital I/Os, it is ideal for automation and control, but also as a thin client and for data acquisition.
