Navigation concept from Webpgr
© webpgr
The Berlin start-up Webpgr has developed a navigation concept that allows individual and lively websites to be created without static menu structures. Instead of clicking through subpages from the main page and waiting for them to reload, visitors can "travel" through a website consisting of a single interface by panning, rotating or zooming. This type of page is created using a Photoshop-like principle on an unlimited 2D surface directly on the website. Customers can either design their own website online and then have it hosted in a subscription model or commission professional web designers to create it. As Webpgr uses standard web technologies such as HTML 5, the websites created there can be viewed with any modern desktop and mobile browser.
