Kübler's functional safety technology portfolio includes certified encoders and a family of safety modules consisting of basic and extension modules. In addition to the digital extension modules, there is now an analog extension module: The Safety-M modular EMIO.SAI.200 module is particularly suitable for monitoring analog sensors. Voltage, current and temperature signals are evaluated safely. The device can monitor or evaluate two analog signals simultaneously and turns them into a safe signal. This makes it possible to monitor minimum/maximum values or measuring ranges. The module has a removable chip card that stores configuration data. This is particularly useful when changing devices. The status LED on the front enables local diagnostics. Thanks to the 'SafeMonitor' software, in-depth diagnostics on the PC and remote maintenance are possible. The expansion modules with analog inputs are particularly suitable for connecting voltage signals (0 to 10 V), current signals (4 to 20 mA) and Pt100 temperature signals (-200 to +850 °C). The module is certified according to SIL3/PLe and UL.
