With the Smart Terminal enclosure series, OKW Gehäusesysteme offers a robust aluminum profile enclosure in its standard product range. A uniform profile cross-section with variable length design and matching accessories enables flexible applications as table-top or wall-mounted versions. The enclosure series consists of a C-shaped base profile made of anodized and blasted aluminium. It includes a recessed surface for membrane keypads/decorative foils and flat, lateral interface surfaces. There is sufficient space for operating elements, switches or displays. The flat base profile is also made of aluminum and closes the enclosure from below using six screws. The open sides of the profile are closed with cover caps made of ASA+PC-FR material. There are separate molded seals for the plastic parts. The cover caps also allow interfaces such as plugs and connections. The complete enclosures are available with a profile measuring 170 mm x 50 mm (W x H) and in profile lengths of 160 mm, 200 mm and 240 mm. With the cover caps, the overall length of each size is extended by 42 mm. The versions have been designed to fit standard display and touch solutions from 4.3 to a maximum of 8 inches. The displays and circuit boards can be mounted either upwards or downwards.
