Large crowds of people are on the move at trade fairs or festivals and at public transport hubs. Each individual wants to get to their destination with as few detours as possible. For this to work, a precise simulation of the expected flow of people is required in the early planning stages of large construction and event projects. Thanks to the 'Crowd Dynamics Suite' software from Munich-based start-up accu:rate, psychosocial factors such as local knowledge or spontaneous reactions to traffic jams are now included in the analyses for the first time.
