Adlink Technology is launching a COM module in the SMARC form factor based on a Freescale i.MX6 processor with ARM Cortex A9 architecture. The module is equipped with dual or quad-core processors and clocks at 800 MHz to 1.2 GHz. The directly soldered DDR3L-1066/13333 memory has a capacity of up to 2 Gbyte. The LEC-iMX6 module works in a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C thanks to 'Extreme Rugged Technology'. It uses the 82 mm x 50 mm format and has LCD controllers for a maximum of three independent displays. In addition, an optional eMMC flash memory (4 Gbyte to 64 Gbyte) is supported, which can be used as a boot device. The range of interfaces includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, a PCIe x1 Gen2 port, MIPI CSI camera interface, three USB 2.0 ports, up to 12 GPIOs, an SD/MMC and a SATA 3 Gbit/s port. The module has a U-Bootloader and supports various operating systems.
