However, the Bad Mergentheim-based company does not achieve this entirely by hand: "In explosion protection, it takes a certain amount of time before you receive certification and the product can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres," explains Dr. Anjou Appelt (left), member of the Bartec management team. In order to be able to offer something innovative on an ongoing basis, the company also relies on the continuous further development of proven products. In around 40 major projects per year, the company also works on genuinely new developments. This results in new features for mobile computers, for example, which enable effective explosion protection within industrial plants.
