With mainSensor MDS-40-MK and LP, Micro-Epsilon presents magneto-inductive displacement sensors that can be individually configured from several options. Four preconfigured preferred types of the MDS-40-MK series offer different connector, supply and output types. For series of 200 units or more, these parameters and the degree of protection can be configured to customer specifications. Depending on the quantity, the PCB design of the MDS-40-LP series can be adapted to the installation situation and other requirements. Measuring ranges can be selected via different magnet types for the target and the measuring arrangements. The series is based on a special measuring principle which, according to the manufacturer, combines the advantages of inductive sensors and magnetic sensors. Measuring ranges of up to 55 mm can be achieved by using magnets of different strengths. To adjust the measuring range of the distance sensors, only the magnet needs to be replaced.
