The top innovator designs and creates production systems for body construction and vehicle assembly. The latest highlight: a vehicle body created entirely using 3D printing. Innovations like these succeed because the management is involved in all processes and encourages all 4,000 employees to share ideas - for example through regular meetings, via special networks on the intranet and with an open-door policy. EDAG also records improvements in a suggestion system, which is coordinated by a dedicated manager.
