Until now, two analog modules had to be integrated if different signal forms (voltage and current) occurred in an installation. Now Murrelektronik presents the MASI68 analog module for processing analog voltage and current signals. The four available measuring channels can be parameterized accordingly. How many of the four slots are to be used for which signal form can be parameterized according to the specific requirements. It is also possible to variably set whether sensors with a current range of ±4 to ±20 mA or 0 to ±20 mA should be connected. The voltage measurement covers the range from 0 to ±10 V. The analog module complies with protection class IP68 and is wired using M12 round cables. An M12 shield connection and a functional earth ensure that EMC influences have no negative impact on the analog signals. The module can be integrated into existing AS-Interface structures and can also be used for further looping.
