The new generation of the motorized motor control valve MotorflowD from Asco Numatics is equipped with a flat rotary valve whose wear-free ceramic discs are insensitive to contamination. As the open/close control takes place at reduced speed, pressure surges are avoided. Two ceramic discs are rotated against each other via an axis and an electric motor with gearbox. The triangular shape maintained in this way draws a linear flow characteristic curve and thus ensures maximum control accuracy. The valve has a setpoint input (0 to 10 V/0 (4) to 20 mA), an actual value output (0 to 10 V/0 (4) to 20 mA) and an integrated 3-point controller for regulating the valve position for infinitely variable volume flow control of liquid and gaseous media. A 3-digit LED display in combination with two input keys enables operation on site. Control parameters and setpoint and actual value settings can be changed, saved and visualized via a serial PC interface for communication with the associated software.
