Stöber Antriebstechnik, Servo spindle motors EZS and EZM
© Stöber Antriebstechnik
Based on the technology of the EZ and EZF servomotors introduced last year, Stöber now also offers servo spindle motors with the designation EZS and EZM. The EZS version was designed for the direct drive of commercially available spindle drives with a rotating spindle rod. In this design, the spindle nut is usually connected to a linear slide in order to drive it. To attach the respective spindle, it is inserted into the blind hollow shaft of the new servo spindle motor and connected to a standard clamping set. Depending on the size, spindles with a diameter of 20, 25, 32 and 40 mm can be used. The EZS motor is equipped with a special axial angular contact ball bearing to absorb the high axial forces. The EZM servo spindle motor was developed for spindle drives with a driven nut. For a wide range of applications, it has a hollow flange shaft for mounting the flange nut to DIN 69051-5 in version S. Adapter sleeves can be used to mount flange nuts in the standard version to DIN 69051-5. The extremely short motor design is based on an orthocyclic tooth coil winding with the highest possible copper fill factor. All versions are also available with liquid cooling. The EZS version is also available with a forced cooling fan.
