Balluff presents push-pull versions of the Profinet IO-Link master modules. They feature the push-pull connection technology for fieldbus and power cables specified in the AIDA (Automation Initiative of German Automobile Manufacturers) and are available with either fiber optic or copper cable connection. A third variant combines both worlds and offers both a fiber optic (SCRJ) and a copper (RJ45) push-pull connection. This module can be used to convert from copper to fiber optic cable in the I/O module without the need for an additional, external converter module.
