The tailor-made technology 'Ifinity' from the start-up of the same name in Warsaw, Poland, is designed for smart living, especially for visually impaired people in the city: the smartphone is in contact with beacon transmitters installed in public spaces. Beacons are tiny Bluetooth transmitters whose signals are received by smartphones. The 'Ifinity' application decodes their codes and displays push messages on the user's cell phone that correspond to this location. In this way, 'Ifinity' helps users to find their way in public spaces - for example, when they need to locate a specific address or find books on certain topics in the library or even people with the same interests. The picture shows Ifinity founders Adam Jesionkiewicz and Bartek Pucek.
