According to Bitkom, three quarters of respondents believe that Industry 4.0 solutions can optimize processes in their factory. 72% assume that production costs can be reduced because efficiency increases through the use of IT. Almost the same number say that capacity utilization can be improved with the help of IT - "So we see: Industry 4.0 pays dividends in terms of a company's classic success factors from the user's perspective," says Winfried Holz.
