'zwielicht: kraftfeld.der.energie_Neckarwestheim': Since 2008, photo artist Maximilian Gottwald has been exploring the aestheticization of functional architecture and the ambivalence that arises when looking at it. He achieved the surreal pictorial effect seen here by photographing the power plants in three different light situations: daylight, twilight and artificial light. Superimposed on each other, they create this twilight. The luminous power of the artificial light comes into its own. A power station with its distinctive industrial plant lighting was naturally predestined for this.
