Without precise measuring and testing technology and support from industry, initiatives such as the Bochum University of Applied Sciences' SolarCar project would not be so successful: the BOcruiser, which has been developed to be a realistic everyday vehicle, has typical car dimensions. In the fall, the students will take part in the Global Green Challenge in Australia with a two-seater, a journey of around 3000 km from Darwin to Adelaide.
