According to Teledyne Flir IIS, the camera fulfills the essential requirements for a real-time complete stereo imaging solution. Users can test and deploy depth sensing systems that operate up to a range of 20 meters with the wide baseline solution. Thanks to its low latency, it is particularly suitable for real-time applications such as autonomous mobile robots, driverless transport systems, pick-and-place applications, bin picking and palletizing. Features include a factory-calibrated 24 cm baseline stereo imaging system with 3 MP sensors for high accuracy and low latency in real-time applications, an IP67-certified machine vision system with color and monochrome ordering options, multiple fields of view and 1 GigE or 5 GigE PoE, and onboard processing to output a depth map and color data for point cloud conversion and colorization.
