New managing director appointed

The Imaging Source, manufacturer of machine vision cameras and software for industrial image processing, has appointed Günter Arztmiller as the new Managing Director for its headquarters in Bremen.

Co-founder and outgoing Managing Director Rolf Bollhorst has led The Imaging Source for over 30 years and retired on September 1, 2022. The change in management marks the start of the planned generational change within the company.

Austrian-born Günter Arztmiller has lived in Germany since 1997 and has been Managing Director of a provider of high-performance control solutions for conveyor systems in the automotive industry for over ten years. Previously, Arztmiller held senior sales and management positions in Europe and Asia for systems with camera and sensor-controlled robotic systems.

The Imaging Source, founded in 1988, is a manufacturer of industrial cameras, video converters and embedded vision components for factory automation, quality assurance, medical, scientific, security and a variety of other markets.
