Sonja Pierer manages the German business

In addition to her role as Country Manager of the Sales and Marketing Group (SMG), Intel has appointed Sonja Pierer as the new Managing Director in Germany.

[Sonja Pierer has been with Intel since 2021 and was responsible for the enterprise and government segment in all vertical markets until the end of 2022. Since February 2023, she has been Country Manager Germany and also heads the Digital Sales division for the EMEA region. With a degree in computer science, she has extensive experience in responsible positions at Cisco, NCR, Experis and Amazon. and has been continuing her career at Intel in Germany since 2021.

In her new role, Sonja Pierer succeeds Christin Eisenschmid, who has left the company for personal reasons.

In addition to her professional activities, the Bavarian native is a volunteer member of FidAR - Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte e.V. and the BayFiD - Bayerns Frauen in Digitalberufen initiative. With her commitment, she supports the promotion of women in management positions and advocates for more diversity on company boards and supervisory boards.
