Cables are pushed through the elastic gel insert and are securely positioned in place thanks to the static friction on the cable sheath and sealed in accordance with IP68 protection. The funnel-step geometry of the individual entry points enables the maximum clamping ranges to be increased with up to 4 mm variance per cable diameter. Unused entry points remain securely closed and sealed thanks to the elastic gel technology. The multiple entry is mounted on the housing by screwing it in or fixing it with a locknut. In addition to the gel insert, it consists of a polycarbonate frame.

UL certification for the North American market is available in accordance with UL 50, UL 50E, CSA C22.2 and UL 508A for industrial system controls. In addition to the previous round multiple entries for a maximum of twelve, 18 or 30 cables, which can be inserted into one housing at the same time, Lapp now offers variants for four or eight cables.
