Cables for digitalization and Industry 4.0

SAB Bröckskes offers robust category 6, 6A, 7 and 7A industrial Ethernet cables for digitalization and Industry 4.0. Two Industrial Gigabit Ethernet cables have been specially developed for the increasing data transmission rates in automation.

In addition to the CATLine CAT 7A RT, a CAT 7A cable suitable for robots, the CATLine CAT 7A S cable suitable for drag chains with UL/CSA approval was specially developed for the increasing data transmission rates in automation. SAB also offers customers in automation technology development support, for example in the area of new communication systems in drive technology. The following category 6A and 7A Industrial Ethernet cables can be customized with different versions:

  • the CATLine CAT 7A RT robot cable for use in harsh, industrial conditions (high temperatures, contamination with oils and chemicals)
  • CATLine CAT 7A S, a drag chain cable for use under harsh industrial conditions in drag chains;
  • the temperature-resistant CATLine CAT 6A HAT cable for harsh industrial conditions at temperatures from -90 to +180 °C (non-moving) and from -55 to +180 °C (moving);
  • the CATLine CAT 7A DR reeling cable, which is suitable for use in theater technology, signal transmission in mobile computer cleaning systems or high-bay warehouse technology, for example;
  • the CAT 7 A R data cable in accordance with DIN EN 45545-2, which was specially developed for use in rail vehicles. It is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing in accordance with DIN EN 60332-1-2 and meets the requirements - no fire propagation - in accordance with DIN EN 60332-3-25 and DIN EN 50305 sections 9.1.1 and 9.1.2.
  • The halogen-free Ethernet cable CATLine 7A BL with ABS Type Approval and UL approval is suitable for the shipbuilding industry.
