Without corners and edges

Baumüller has developed a servo motor series for aggressive environments and for industries with very high demands on hygiene, cleanliness and corrosion protection.

The HYG1 in protection class IP69K can be cleaned quickly and easily, thus minimizing downtimes. The compact servomotor has a round stainless steel housing and, thanks to the single-cable solution and Hiperface DSL encoder, requires no additional plug connections and minimizes wiring effort. Corners and edges have been consistently avoided in order to meet the highest hygiene and robustness requirements, even in aggressive environments.

According to Baumüller, the corrugated design of the servo motor maximizes the surface area and therefore the motor's own cooling. The motor series is currently available in size 36 and in three different lengths with an output of up to 1160 W and a speed of 1000 to 4000 min-1.
