Traveling at almost the speed of sound with the Hyperloop superfast train - to make this vision a reality, SpaceX founder Elon Musk has launched the 'Hyperloop Pod Competition': the design by the team from the Technical University of Munich won for the third time.

The Munich team's pod did not reach the hoped-for 600 km/h, but at 467 km/h it clearly outperformed all its competitors: the team from Delft University reached 142 km/h with its pod, while the team from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) managed 90 km/h.
