Once again this year, entrepreneurs, designers and inventors have the opportunity to submit their original products and alleged imitations to the 'Plagiarius' competition and nominate the plagiarist as the winner of the negative prize.

The product design of the silicone molds 'Eclipse' (in the original on the left) from the Italian company Silikomart was copied 1:1 from an unknown manufacturer in China. The packaging design, company name and product name are also (almost) identical - and therefore misleading. The inferior silicone has most likely never been properly heat-treated, which is mandatory for products that come into contact with food.
