07 - Moxa: IEC 62443-4-2 certification for secure industrial routers
The secure industrial routers of the 'EDR-G9010' and 'TN-4900' series from Moxa have received the world's first IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 (SL2) certification. The certification was issued by Bureau Veritas (BV) as the global certification body. Moxa's solutions include security-hardened devices based on the IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standard, OT network segmentation with protection against security threats and OT Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) to implement an industrial Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). The 'EDR-G9010' and 'TN-4900' series use the Moxa Router Operating System (MX-ROS), a software platform for industrial security routers and firewalls. According to the manufacturer, the latest version, MX-ROS 3.0, offers robust security protection and user-friendly workflows thanks to simplified web and CLI interfaces. It also has numerous cross-industry OT network management functions.
