05 - Wittenstein: Designed for high-precision applications
Wittenstein introduces the precision-oriented 'Galaxie accuracy line' product family to the market. The kinematics, bearings, gear ratios and even larger hollow shaft diameters of the gearboxes have been specially designed to meet the requirements of high-precision applications. The series also includes miniaturized gearbox variants that are compatible with shaft gearboxes in terms of their dimensions. The series is available in a total of five sizes and is designed for maximum torques between 150 Nm and 6000 Nm. At the same time as the market launch of the 'Galaxie accuracy line', the variants of the Galaxie gearbox were combined in the 'Galaxie robustness line' series. With the same values for nominal torque, outer diameter and torsional rigidity, they are designed for applications with higher mechanical requirements thanks to their improved overload capacity and more robust bearings. Both product lines are available in several product variants: Flange, hollow shaft and angular gearboxes as well as compact servo actuators.
