The teams at the 10th 'Formula Student Germany' brought the asphalt to the boil in August. German students demonstrated the most engineering skill with their racing cars. They also prevailed with their concepts in the 'Driverless' discipline planned from 2017.

... Networking, software and teamwork. The 'UAS Zwickau' team put in the best performance. It impressed the jury the most with its concept of a racing car that can drive without a driver in autonomous mode. Their ideas will now be incorporated into the regulations already drawn up by the jury for the new 'Formula Student Driverless' competition class.
