The teams at the 10th 'Formula Student Germany' brought the asphalt to the boil in August. German students demonstrated the most engineering skill with their racing cars. They also prevailed with their concepts in the 'Driverless' discipline planned from 2017.

... for the newly introduced prize at Formula Student Germany: the 'Driverless Concept Award'. At this year's Formula Student Germany, the teams were asked on a voluntary basis to submit a concept for the new 'Formula Student Driverless' competition class, which will be introduced next year. 31 teams responded to this call and dealt with the three mandatory topics of 'Safety & Security', 'Environment and Track Appearance' and 'Competition'.
