Siemens is expanding its industrial communication portfolio with the Scalance XB-100 unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches, which feature a wide range of ports and connections.

Extension units can be used to add haptic elements to HMI devices. There are several options for the connection - from direct hard wiring to bus-compatible communication via Profinet or Profisafe.
