Dechema, VDI and AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement have founded a joint specialist group for measurement and sensor technology, in which cross-organizational activities are to be bundled in the future.

AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement
Board elections at the AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement: Peter Krause (First Sensor) remains Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ralf Slatter (Sensitec) and Professor Dr. Stefan Zimmermann (Leibniz University Hanover) were newly elected to the Board.

The AMA Innovation Award 2017 has been presented: This year, a team of developers from the USA impressed the jury with a high-frequency-based diesel and petrol particulate filter sensor.
