Presentations wanted for new Sensor+Test congress
The AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement opens the Call for Papers for the 'Sensor and Measurement Science International 2020 (SMSI)'. The international congress will take place parallel to the Sensor+Test trade fair in Nuremberg.
The 'SMSI' congress will replace the former AMA congresses in 2020. The previous focus on sensor technology and instrumentation will be supplemented by the topics of measurement technology and metrology in the new format.
The 'SMSI 2020' will bring together national and international representatives from research, science and industry. The Sensors congress pillar deals with sensor principles, materials, technology and applications and integrates the satellite conference 'IRS² 2020'; the Metrology pillar deals with metrological principles, advanced methods, networked systems and new AI approaches in measurement. The metrology area deals with traceability, advanced calibration and testing methods as well as new regulations and standards in metrology, among other things.
Interested parties are invited to submit a short description of the lecture or poster presentation in English by January 31, 2020 at the latest. The congress will take place parallel to the Sensor+Test trade fair from June 22 to 25, 2020 in Nuremberg.
