The 2D LiDAR sensor from Sick with an aperture angle of 276° is available in three performance levels - 'Core', 'Prime' and 'Pro' - depending on the working range and resolution. An online configurator provides support in selecting the right sensor version. The 2D LiDAR sensor offers a working range of up to 75 m at 90 % remission, scanning frequencies of up to 50 Hz and possible angular resolutions of 0.05°. This ensures the detection of small objects or fine structures even at large distances, for example for precise localization or reliable collision avoidance. With dynamic detection profiles, in which scanning frequencies and angular resolutions are varied, the sensor adapts its measurement core parameters to the specific requirements of subtasks. Thanks to IP65 and IP67, the sensor is effectively protected against the ingress of moisture and dust. Its operating temperature range is specified as -33 to +50 °C.
