The goal of the multi-year strategic collaboration between Claroty and Amazon Web Services (AWS) underlines the common goal of supporting companies in their digital transformation: through Claroty's industry-oriented CPS protection platform and AWS' scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. The cooperation enables SaaS-based asset visibility, exposure management, network protection, secure access and threat detection for cyber-physical systems.

Industrial IoT and cyber-physical systems are increasingly connecting OT environments with IT networks and the cloud. While this brings productivity benefits and cost savings, it also exposes cyber-physical systems to cyber risks. To strike a balance between improving operational efficiency and reducing CPS risk, more and more organizations are turning to SaaS-based cybersecurity solutions designed specifically for their specific CPS requirements.

Claroty offers comprehensive asset visibility and a wide range of solutions including exposure management, network protection, secure access and threat detection. With the xDome SaaS platform, built natively on AWS architecture, joint customers get all the benefits of cloud scalability, flexibility and simplicity, as well as customized protection for all cloud-connected CPS assets and networks.

Jeff Kratz, Vice President of AWS Worldwide Public Sector Industry Sales, said: "As more and more large organizations in both the public and private sectors move to the cloud, ensuring the security of cyber-physical systems in their core networks and edge locations has become a priority. We are pleased to partner with Claroty to provide our customers with Claroty's state-of-the-art, AWS-based CPS cybersecurity solutions."

"Protecting cyber-physical systems varies quite a bit by industry. For example, securing a programmable logic controller (PLC) in a manufacturing plant has very different requirements and parameters than securing an MRI machine in a hospital," says Stephan Goldberg, Vice President of Business Development at Claroty. "This is why industry orientation is at the heart of our business. This is how we enable our customers to effectively improve their CPS security posture. In addition, comprehensive CPS protection gives organizations the peace of mind they need to move these business-critical systems to the cloud. We are very excited to expand our collaboration with AWS and work together to help organizations build their cyber and operational resilience."
