Ethernet tester and safety analyzer in the portfolio
Distrelec is expanding its portfolio to include the 'CyberScope' Ethernet tester and security analyzer from network testing and analysis specialist NetAlly. The company is thus expanding its network, data and communication offering.
According to Distrelec, the portable cybersecurity tool detects vulnerabilities in network access layers that can impact organizations of all shapes and sizes, from sprawling campuses to small office spaces. The integrated Nmap (Network Mapper) technology scans and maps network devices and provides details on open ports, service versions and operating systems. The integrated AirMapper Site Survey feature quickly turns any floor plan in PDF or image format into a detailed RF survey, mapping Wi-Fi and BLE devices and clients using a heat map. The CyberScope can simultaneously detect network topologies and perform Nmap surveys of detected devices when its second management radio is connected to the network. The analysis tool enables organizations to proactively identify vulnerabilities and remediate potential security risks.
