In contrast to conventional industrial robots, cognitive robots are able to learn from their environment, make independent decisions and adapt to dynamic production scenarios. This opens up new application possibilities, including complicated assembly tasks, detailed quality control and adaptive material handling processes.

The partnership between Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies and Neura Robotics goes beyond technological advancement and is driven by a shared vision. Omron, a company committed to transforming lives and contributing to a better society, resonates with Neura's mission to serve humanity through breakthrough robotic technologies.

Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies is a subsidiary of Omron Corporation and a provider of robotic automation and safety sensing solutions. Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies designs and manufactures industrial, collaborative and mobile robots.

Neura Robotics was founded in 2019 with the aim of "ushering in the age of cognitive robots". Like a smartphone manufacturer, the company combines all components and sensors as well as artificial intelligence in one device and offers partners a platform for the joint development of apps for a wide range of specialist areas, the so-called 'Neuraverse'. Neura's cognitive robots can see, hear and have a sense of touch; according to the manufacturer, they act completely autonomously and learn from experience.
