New Regional Sales Director for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France
Omron has appointed Stéphane Chômienne as Regional Sales Director for the Central region effective July 1, 2025. Chômienne will lead the sales activities in the region, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region) as well as France.
Chômienne has already been Deputy Country General Manager since April 2025. The appointment as Regional Sales Director marks the next step in a thoroughly planned management handover ahead of Dr. Klaus Kluger's departure in November 2025.
Chômienne is currently Country General Manager France and has a sound cross-border perspective thanks to his ten years of life and work experience in Germany. He holds a degree in engineering from CentraleSupélec Paris and a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich. He has profound international professional experience in leading positions at Bosch in Germany and France. Since joining Omron in 2015, Chômienne has focused on developing customer-centric strategies and agile technical sales organizations.
Dr. Klaus Kluger, who has led Omron 's business in Central and Eastern Europe since 2017, explains: "After more than two decades in industrial automation, including many successful years at Omron and previously at Adept Technologies, it is time for me to pass on the baton. It has been an honor to help shape our regional strategy and contribute to the integration of robotics into our broader automation offering."
