New management for cobot business
Delta has announced the appointment of Michael Mayer-Rosa as Head of IRS (Intelligent Robot System) effective August 1, 2024, with responsibility for the global cobot business.
The IRS division deals with the development of cobots, cognitive robots, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and other technologies in the field of robotics. Mayer-Rosa is currently already Senior Director of the Industrial Automation Business Group at Delta Electronics EMEA Region. In this role, which he will continue to hold, he is also responsible for Key Account Management, EMEA IABG Marketing and Sales Country Management for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.
Prior to joining Delta EMEA, Mayer-Rosa held senior positions at companies such as Balluff and Leuze, where he led technical development, product management and global business expansion.
