With 'ctrlX FlowHS', Bosch Rexroth presents a linear motion system for the transportation and positioning of products and materials. The motion system is integrated into the company's 'ctrlX Automation' modular automation system, so that all components of the platform and also the apps of the partner world 'ctrlX World' can be used. The system itself is based on the 'ctrlX Core' controller with the 'ctrlX OS' operating system. Based on a modular construction kit, the linear motion system has plug-and-play functionality. Segments such as straight lines, curves and switches can be combined as required to create specific topologies, lengths and routes.
With an acceleration of up to 10G and a speed of 5 m/s, the system enables fast movements. Multiple movers with a scalable payload of up to 2.5 kg (single) or 5 kg (linked) provide corresponding performance. The U-shaped design improves routing and minimizes friction to ensure consistent maximum speed even in curves.
