Jochen Vetter, Manager Robot Safety at Pilz, advises in terms of safety: "In order to carry out a proper risk assessment or CE marking of the application, you need to have a precise idea of what the robot is supposed to do. This also means that you have to abandon the idea of the 'little helper' a la Daniel Gyro Gearloose, where the robot works here today and there tomorrow as it pleases."
