The robot from Dobot is particularly suitable for working with people, partly due to the supplier's SafeSkin technology, a collision detection solution that detects obstacles and protects people from collision. SafeSkin complies with safety standards such as EN ISO 13849 and TS 15066. The series, which is suitable for hazardous work such as welding, operates in 6-axis mode and is available in seven different versions. While the smallest Cobot CR3 has a maximum payload of 3 kg and a maximum reach of 620 mm, the most robust robot arm, the CR16, lifts up to 16 kg and has a maximum reach of 1,223 mm.
