The keypad modules in Graf-Syteco's K2 series have e1 approval and can therefore be used in vehicles without restrictions. They can be combined with the supplier's operating and control units to create customized operating solutions for mobile machinery, for example. An integrated CAN interface is available for integration into the automation architecture. Developers can parameterize the keypads using the "GSUtility" software. Depending on the type, the modules consist of four or five short-stroke keys and a digital potentiometer. Depending on requirements, the provider supplies customized keypads that can be extended with additional buttons or potentiometers. The modules can be installed both vertically and horizontally. Integrated keypad lighting with dimmable brightness makes the keypads easy to read even in the dark. All keys can be individually labeled using a pull-in strip. The keypad modules are robust and meet all current test standards for EMC, vibration and shock. The front complies with protection class IP65 and the operating temperature range is from -20 to +70 °C.
