Kontron introduces two product families of robust panel PCs and monitors for industrial use resulting from the ongoing product harmonization in the context of the merger of Kontron with the S&T Group. The FlatClient Panel PCs and FlatView monitors are available in many variants and cover display sizes from 10.1 inches to 23.8 inches. They are available in 16:9 or 16:10 widescreen format as well as in 4:3 and 5:4 standard format. Both product families have an all-metal housing and are available in versions for stand-alone operation with VESA mounting and as built-in devices. The devices are available with PCAP, resistive touchscreen or safety glass, and can also be equipped with RFID readers. The Panel PC product family is divided into two lines: The "Eco Line" relies on Intel Atom processors, while the "Pro Line" uses Intel CoreT CPUs. The "Eco Line" has two GbE, one HDMI, one VGA, two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 ports, while the "Pro Line" offers three GbE, two DisplayPort and four USB 3.0 interfaces. Both lines can be optionally equipped with two serial interfaces (RS232, RS422, RS485), an audio output, an RFID module and a CF/SD card reader. Like the Panel PCs, the industrial monitors are available in various versions with different display sizes, image formats and resolutions: The range of available models extends from 10.1-inch variants with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels to 23.8-inch variants with 1920 x 1080 pixels.
