Christian Unterberger (55) holds a degree in electrical engineering from a university of applied sciences in Carinthia (Austria) and successfully completed the Advanced Management Training program at Duke University (USA). Most recently, he was COO and member of the Management Board at Canon Production Printing with global responsibility for the 'Digital Production Printing' division. At the GHM Group, Unterberger intends to drive forward the implementation of sustainable organizational and financial processes in addition to the further digitalization and increased international orientation of the group of companies. "I will continue to support the forward-looking projects that have already begun. It is particularly important to me that the company develops more strongly in the direction of environmental measurement technology. Here I see enormous growth and development potential for GHM Group products in the areas of sensor technology and state-of-the-art measurement technology, for example for wind, temperature or renewable energy sources," says the new CEO, describing his plans.

Dr. Axel Lamprecht, who has been at the helm of the company since February 2020, is leaving the company for personal reasons and will be on hand to advise and support the new management team, particularly during the transition period.

Genui has been the majority shareholder of the GHM Group since January 2022.
