Josep Betorz becomes CEO
Panasonic has announced the appointment of Josep Betorz as CEO of Panasonic Europe.
Betorz has been with Panasonic since 2008, initially as Finance and Operations Director for Panasonic Spain before being appointed Chief Financial Officer of Panasonic Iberia in 2010. Following a promotion, he moved to the regional headquarters organization in 2013 and was most recently Chief Financial Officer of Panasonic Europe (since 2019). He will continue in this role until a successor is appointed.
Commenting on his appointment, Betorz says: "My priority is to manage the implementation of the 'Panasonic Green Impact' business strategy and to support our business units in further developing their strengths in the field of AI in Europe."
