With the same open programming standards and engineering tools, they cover the spectrum from single-axis controllers without control cabinets to control cabinet variants and multi-axis controllers for a large number of electrohydraulic and electromechanical axes. Multi-Ethernet interfaces and standards such as OPC UA ensure seamless horizontal and vertical networking of the electronic hydraulics. This means it can be integrated into automation architectures up to Industry 4.0 environments, regardless of the control system. The single-axis and multi-axis motion controls for hydraulic actuators close the control loop decentrally and relieve the higher-level controller. The manufacturer uses identical control hardware platforms as well as consistent software standards based on IEC 611331-3 and identical engineering tools for all intelligent drives. This gives machine manufacturers a high degree of freedom to vary the type and number of drives in their concepts on a customer-specific basis with minimal software intervention across all technologies. Once program parts have been written, they can simply be transferred to all motion controls. The software automatically takes into account the non-linearities of the fluid technology and compensates for them. For the higher-level control system, hydraulic drives therefore behave in exactly the same way as electromechanical drives.
