Under the title "Three questions for ...", computer-automation.de is publishing short interviews with the leading figures in the automation industry on a monthly basis this year.
The HARTING Technology Group is a global provider of industrial connection technology for the three lifelines of data, signal and power. The Harting family has managed the company with great attention to detail since it was founded in 1945. After the death of Wilhelm Harting in 1962, Marie Harting successfully and purposefully continues to manage the company. In 1967 and 1969 respectively, her two sons Dietmar and Jürgen Harting (who died in 1973) took over entrepreneurial responsibility alongside their mother. In 1987, Margrit Harting joined her husband Dietmar Harting's family business and is now a member of the Management Board. With Philip Harting and Maresa Harting-Hertz, the third generation is now in a leading position.
