Captron is expanding the range of applications for the smartCAP sensor buttons, which are particularly suitable for IoT applications and can transmit information to the operator in real time. Users can configure the properties of the sensor buttons individually and flexibly via tablet, smartphone or computer, depending on the application, for example the sensitivity of the sensor, the color of the LEDs, the switching output and the switching function via buttons, switches and toggle flip-flop or lighting variants. The push-buttons are also IO-Link-capable. The devices also collect data such as the degree of soiling, functionality, temperature or frequency of operation.
