As a prelude to the growing i³ Control portfolio, Yaskawa presents the first PLC of the i³ Control complete solution: the iC9210-PN.
The CTS safety switch from Euchner can be used for swing or sliding doors or for the smallest door radii. It has dimensions of 135 mm × 31 mm × 31 mm and a locking force of 3900 N as well as three different mounting directions and a floating universal actuator. An escape release can be retrofitted at any time. The transponder-based safety switch guarantees the safety requirements of category 4 / PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and EN ISO 14119. Developed as a switch with 'FlexFunction', it combines various functions in one device. This gives users the choice of which function it is to be used for - with or without guard locking monitoring, high or low coded evaluation of the actuator code. The function is selected via the appropriate actuator. The switch can also be connected to IO-Link.
