Oliver Frese, Member of the Board of Deutsche Messe, is delighted about HPE's strong presence: "We are delighted that Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as one of the global market leaders in IT infrastructure, is making a clear statement at the new Cebit and will be back again in 2018." Heiko Meyer, CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Germany, emphasizes: "In the future, every machine, every process, every building will be equipped with intelligence. At Cebit, we want to generate enthusiasm for the opportunities that this opens up. But we will also be demonstrating the ways and means of realizing these opportunities and protecting against the risks."

Oliver Frese, Deutsche Messe: "I am particularly looking forward to the many applications that not only show a cross-section of the top topics at Cebit 2018, but also offer the public concrete examples of digital transformation."

Diverse application examples

HPE's application examples at Cebit include production machines that repair themselves, intelligent rooms that guide and serve people, data centers that independently resolve impending bottlenecks, networked things that recognize hackers by their behavior, and new types of computers that compare millions of disease symptoms to find exactly the right medication.

Together with partners, HPE will also be showcasing the technologies, solutions and services that form the basis for such applications - such as hybrid infrastructures, location-based services, IoT systems, artificial intelligence, blockchain applications and supercomputers. They collect and analyze data from the Internet of Things, data centers and the cloud in order to derive recommendations and actions in fractions of a second.
